Thomas Rivers Brown was granted the prestigious recognition of 2010 Winemaker of the Year by Food & Wine Magazine. Thomas' previous winemaking experience includes working as the assistant winemaker at Turley Wine Cellars from 1997 through 2001. He is currently the consulting winemaker for several projects in the Napa Valley including Chiarello Family Vineyards, Schrader Cellars, Outpost and Nicholson Ranch. Since his graduation from the University of Virginia in 1994, Thomas' clients have also included Casa Piena, Tor and Tamber Bey Winery. In addition, he is part owner and managing partner for Ridgetop Partners, a new Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir project.
