Description
93 Points, Wine Spectator. In its first five years, this wine has garnered a 93 point score and won a Bronze Medal, becoming a customer favorite.
The combination of Cabernet clones 337 & 7 work well against each other in the 2008 vintage. For people who drink a lot of wines, the 2008 vintage will be very interesting. The nose is classic Cab with notes of creosote, blackcurrants and cassis. The palate features an elegant plumminess that is a St. Helena trademark but carries with it a spicy, minty note that adds dimension to the wine. This wine is an incredible value given the quality and will only continue to improve over time.

2008 - 93 Points Wine Spectator Insider
"Complex aromas of toasty oak, ripe plum and blackberry are pure and rich, supple and layered. This full-bodied red unfolds in a slow, graceful manner. Drink now through 2020." - J.L.
