Description
A small production white wine from a favorite Italian grape, Ribolla Gialla, our Chiara Bianco Napa Valley is my favorite white wine for food. The fruit come from prestigious vineyard planted with cuttings from Friulian (Alto Adige) master Josko Gravner. Made like a red wine with lots of skin contact, it stands up to my food beautifully, and can be enjoyed as a sipping wine on warm days or as a proud partner to grilled meats.
NEW (April 2013) The 2012 Chiara Bianco has structure and balance from the addition of Tocai Fruliano from California along with the Napa Valley Ribolla Gialla. The resulting texture is fascinating, while the wine has plenty of floral, citrus and honeycomb and notes of white chocolate and fresh melons.
