Giana | Young Vine Zinfandel | Napa Valley
Named for Michael's youngest daughter and fellow Culinary Institute of America alum (like her father), the Giana is Michael's "go-to" wine for grilling, due to its food-friendliness.
Almost entirely comprised of Zinfandel from 5 to 17 year-old estate vines, this mouthwatering wine pairs perfectly with all foods in all seasons and for all occasions. This crowd-pleaser happens to be our fan favorite. Dark red fruits of cherries and berries, with a supple spice of mint, and a chocolate finish. This wine is full and rich upfront, and buffered on the back end by a firm natural acidity. A hint of our estate Petite Sirah fleshes out the structure of the wine and prolongs the finish. Drink this wine now or age for up to 5-7 years in the cellar.
